MPSC Awarded Long Term Service Agreement for Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant from North West Power Generation Company Limited (Bangladesh)

Marubeni Power Systems Corporation (President: Ken Muroie, “MPSC”) has been awarded the LongTerm Service Agreement for Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant (“LTSA Contract”) fromNorth West Power Generation Company Limited (“NWPGCL”), and signed the contract. MPSC will execute remote monitoring of the power plant, and planned maintenances for key components (including Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, and Generator) for 6 years.

Bheramara Combined Cycle Power Plant is located in about 150km west of Dhaka, and having installed capacity of 410MW. Through this LTSA Contract, MPSC will contribute for the stable operation of this power plant together with Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd.

In Bangladesh, several new electric power development plans have been established in order to supportfast growing demand of electricity due tothe rapid economic development. MPSC will continue to seek opportunities to contribute to a stable power supply in Bangladesh.
